Episode covers the Attitude Era. If the 80's were the Golden years of wrestling, the late 90's early 2000's was the platinum age. Sold out shows. Record television ratings.

.....

As WWE was getting beat week in week out by WCW, Vince realizes he needed to change the direction of the company. From the controversary of the Montreal Screwjob, the most ruthless hated vile villain of all was born......MR. McMahon. McMahon, admittedly, always wanted to be a character in the show. His Dad didn't think that was the best idea. At the end of the day there, we were given Vince McMahon the commentator. Now, though, McMahon could be an onscreen character.

Vince says the Mr. McMahon character was easy for him to do. All he did was think about how disliked the way people with money treated Vince when he was dirt poor growing up. In real life, Vince believes he is nowhere near the Mr. McMahon character. Family and employees, though, ststed that Mr. McMahon was Vince....just amped up a bit.

The Attitude Era was all about pushing the envelope. Moving on from the pre teen crowd to the 18 to 34 male demographic that advertisers love. Here there are no real revelations made. From DX to Stone Cold to Rock to the Brood Bloodbath....really her nothing new is brought to light that a fan of the WWE back then knew. If you didn't want to watch use the remote was Vince's rellying cry then.
